I first made my critical link on Lucien Herve and Helene Binet on the pages software, using quotes, annotations of their work and looking into their themes that explore multiple dimensions in their architecture pieces. I then went around my college grounds and took photos of the architecture that remained there, then developed the photos on Photoshop into black and white using saturation change and levels. Then I made a composition factfile on pages using my own photos as examples, outlining the key features to match each meaning. I had then went on the art trip to Manchester and took more photos at Salford Quays. Back at school, I put them all into a file and created contact sheets, then later picked my best 20 photos and developed them in Photoshop into black and white pieces using the same method as I did for my college photos. Finally, I chose 6 of them and made practise using blending options on the image used to create an effect ontop of my developed photos, creating my layered B&W images.
